ALA 2013 Rainbow List

After a week of silence from this end, I’m back bloodied but unbowed (thank you very much, Life!), and bearing some pretty darned exciting news.

I just found out that The Winter Garden and Other Stories was chosen for the American Library Association’s 2013 Rainbow List. You can find the complete list of books here.

Finding out about my book being chosen is a major shocker. If the book reached the top ten list (marked by an asterisk next to the title), I’d have a coronary, and you wouldn’t be regaled with my bloggish wit and charm right now. Read: I’m over-the-moon-squeeful and exceedingly grateful.

Speaking of bloggish wit and charm, hoo boy, I’ve got some updates coming down the line for you (not that you’re asking for it or anything – they’ll just hit you whether you like it or not). Oddly enough, I’m feeling rather blasé about it. I’d like to think of that as a sign of maturity, but I’m starting to doubt it. Too much melatonin, more like.

  1. Congratulations! That’s awesome!

  2. Thank you! It’ll never happen again, so I guess I should bask in this for as long as I can. ^^;;;
