The WordPress staff asked me to switch back to this theme in order for them to see the problem in action and to figure out the coding issues involving embedded videos. So I apologize for the ginormous videos posted in my previous entry. We’re hoping to get this bug fixed.
EDIT: Okay, here’s the solution to the problem, thanks to tech support. If you’re on WordPress and are having the same issues with embedded videos, just mess around with the codes according to what that page tells you. I tested it out, and it works; unfortunately, it also means additional tech stuff for me to know, so I’ll have to revert back to my long-time blog theme. I’m afraid I’m too non-techy to stay on top of things, and I’m not getting any younger. ^^;;;; But I did bookmark the page, so I’ve got a resource in case I find myself in another situation like this and feel confident enough to tackle the intricacies of web-related stuff.
